Where does the weather data come from?
The data is provided by WeatherAPI.com, a service that combines weather models with measurements from stations around the world. Current conditions are refreshed every 15 minutes.
How accurate is the forecast?
The forecast for today and tomorrow is the most reliable, while the third day should be read as a general trend. For local events such as summer showers or thunderstorms, always follow the warnings of your national weather service as well.
What does the "My location" button do?
Your browser asks for permission and sends approximate coordinates, rounded to about 1 km. We use them only to find the forecast for your area and do not store them anywhere.
What does the air quality index mean?
We use the US EPA scale from 1 to 6: 1 is good, 2 moderate, 3 unhealthy for sensitive groups, 4 unhealthy, 5 very unhealthy and 6 hazardous. Sensitive groups are children, older adults and people with asthma or heart disease.
Is the tool free, and is my search saved?
The tool is completely free and needs no sign-up. The last place you chose is remembered only in your browser, so you see it right away on your next visit.
