Guide

How to convert an image to PDF

Whether you are sending a document, a receipt, proof of payment or photos for an application, PDF is a format anyone can open on a computer or phone. This tool converts images to PDF for free, with no software to install and no sign-up.

Multiple images in one PDF

Select all the images at once (on a computer hold Ctrl or Shift, on a phone select several photos in your gallery) or add them one by one with the “Add images” button. Each image becomes one page, and you change the order with the arrows or by dragging. One PDF holds up to 30 images, enough for a contract, both sides of an ID card or a whole set of receipts for your accountant.

Scanning a document to PDF with your phone

No scanner? Your phone is enough:

  1. Place the document on a flat, dark surface, in good daylight and without flash.
  2. Shoot from directly above so the page fills the frame and the edges are straight.
  3. Open this page on your phone, choose the photos and switch the page size to A4.

You get a PDF ready to print or email, and your photos never leave your phone.

JPG to PDF, PNG to PDF and WebP to PDF

The tool supports the three most common image formats. Transparent backgrounds in PNG and WebP images become white, because a PDF page has no transparency. Convert HEIC photos from your iPhone to JPG first with our image converter, then combine them into a PDF here.

Fit to image or A4?

“Fit to image” makes each page exactly the size of the photo, with no white borders, which is ideal for photos and graphics. “A4” places each image on a standard A4 sheet with margins, so the PDF looks like a scanned document and is ready to print.

Privacy first

The conversion runs in your browser. Images are not sent to a server and are not stored anywhere, so the tool is safe even for personal documents such as ID cards, contracts and medical reports.
